Civics Education Learn More

The first emphasis of Generation Joshua is education. Through its civics curriculum, and many hands on program simulations, teens participating in Generation Joshua learn how government works, but also how it should work according to the original intent of the Constitution. An interactive website, the Generation Joshua reading list, and our internship opportunities round out the educational nature of Generation Joshua.

The Generation Joshua’s civics courses are designed to help give members a vision for the stewardship of this great nation. For a current list of active courses and descriptions please click here.

The Generation Joshua recommended reading list encourages students to delve into the great literary works, whose ideas and philosophies have helped shape the culture around them. In doing so, we encourage them to consider where we come from, where we are, and where we are going. To learn more about the reading list, click here.

Generation Joshua continues to provide educational opportunities to students in the form of internship opportunities. Interested high school graduates and college students can submit an application to GenJ, and academic credit is available. By assisting Generation Joshua, interns have the opportunity to gain first hand knowledge and organization. Interns will also have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with Generation Joshua staff members and the HSLDA Federal Relations Department.
